Your Journey Into the Wild…

This carefully curated 9-day route offers a complete immersion into East Africa’s most diverse ecosystems. You will transition from the lush coffee plantations of Arusha to the elephant-rich banks of the Tarangire River. As you move toward the highlands, you will explore the “Garden of Eden” in the Ngorongoro Crater. Finally, the landscape shifts to the vast, rolling savannahs of the Northern Serengeti, where the drama of the Mara River crossings and the thundering herds awaits.

Day 1

Touch down at Kilimanjaro International Airport where your driver will transfer you to Katambuga House in Arusha. Resting at the foot of Mount Meru, this lodge serves as your tranquil base for the night. Enjoy views of the coffee gardens, relax by the pool, or explore the local markets. This is the perfect spot to unwind and prepare for the exciting safari adventure that lies ahead.

Days 2-4

After breakfast, you will meet your private guide for a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. Your home for the next two nights is Oliver’s Camp, situated in a remote sector of the park famous for its intimacy and wilderness feel. Tarangire is renowned for its massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Spend your days on game drives along the river, looking for tree-climbing lions, leopards, and over 500 bird species in this diverse landscape.

Days 4-6

Leaving Tarangire, you will journey through the Great Rift Valley and ascend the slopes of the Olmoti Volcano, checking into The Highlands for two nights. Far removed from the standard circuit, this high-altitude camp offers unmatched seclusion and distinctive geodesic domes with sweeping views. This location serves as your launchpad for the Ngorongoro Crater. You will descend into this collapsed volcanic caldera a UNESCO World Heritage Site for a full-day game drive. It boasts Africa’s highest animal concentration, offering chances to spot the Big Five, including the rare black rhino, against a backdrop of 600-meter high walls.

Days 6-9

For your grand finale, you will transfer to the airstrip for a flight deep into the Northern Serengeti. Here, you will stay at Olakira Migration Camp, a luxury mobile camp that moves with the herds to ensure front-row seats to the action. This region is the hub of the Great Migration (season-dependent), characterized by vast savannahs and acacia woodlands. Spend three nights witnessing the spectacle of wildebeest and zebra braving the crocodile-infested Mara River, along with resident prides of lion and leopard, before your final flight back to Kilimanjaro.
