Day 1
Arrive in Entebbe and settle in before heading into western Uganda. Depending on arrival time, enjoy views of Lake Victoria or explore the botanical gardens and waterfront area.

Days 2-4
Bwindi is one of Africa’s most remarkable wilderness areas and home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Even beyond gorilla trekking, the forest offers exceptional birdlife, dense jungle scenery, and a sense of true remoteness.

Days 4-6
Travel north into the remote Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. The landscape shifts from rainforest to open savannah, creating a dramatic contrast in wildlife experiences.

Days 6-8
Explore Uganda’s most diverse national park, known for its large hippo populations, elephant herds, crater lakes, and the Kazinga Channel. Boat safaris here are often among the highlights of a Uganda journey.

Days 2-4

Days 4-6

Days 6-8

Seasons
June – October (Peak Season)
Generally dry conditions with comfortable temperatures and excellent wildlife viewing. Trails in Bwindi are often easier to navigate, while game viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park is at its strongest.
December – February (Secondary Peak Season)
Another excellent period for gorilla trekking and safari. Conditions are generally dry, visibility is good, and wildlife viewing remains strong across the parks.
March – May (Long Rains)
The landscape becomes exceptionally green and photogenic. Gorilla trekking remains possible, though forest trails can be muddier and more challenging.
November (Short Rains)
A transitional month with fewer visitors, beautiful scenery, and generally good wildlife viewing despite occasional rainfall.
Important Note :- Gorilla trekking permits and chimpanzee trekking permits are not included in the starting prices above and are priced separately.
Optional Extensions
Chimpanzee Trekking (2–3 Nights)
Add Kibale Forest National Park for one of Africa’s best chimpanzee trekking experiences. The forest is home to a large habituated chimpanzee population along with numerous other primate species.
