Wild & Remote Tanzania Safari
This journey explores Tanzania’s lesser-traveled wilderness areas, far from the crowds of the Northern Circuit. It’s about scale, solitude, and raw safari experiences from the predator-rich plains of Ruaha to the river systems of Nyerere and the remote, untouched landscapes of Katavi.

Seasons
June – October (Peak Season)
Dry, cooler conditions make this the best time for safari. Vegetation is sparse, improving visibility, and wildlife gathers near water sources. In parks like Katavi and Ruaha, this leads to particularly strong and concentrated sightings.
November – December (Short Rains / Shoulder Season)
Light rains begin to refresh the landscape. Wildlife viewing remains good, with fewer crowds and more comfortable travel conditions.
January – March (Green Season)
Lush landscapes and excellent birdlife define this period. While wildlife can be more dispersed, the scenery is at its most vibrant, making it ideal for photography.
April – May (Long Rains / Low Season)
Heavier rains can affect accessibility, especially in more remote parks like Katavi. However, this is the quietest time to travel, with dramatic scenery and fewer visitors.
